Tarimoor Art features art work inspired by a range of subjects but specialising in
working dogs and shooting themes.

My interest in working dogs came about after becoming the owner of two Labradors,
Indie and Tau, both of which have been with me since they were eight weeks old.
Initially, my interest was in training for Working Trials,
although this has subsequently extended into Gundog training. 
Participation in both disciplines gave me an awareness, whilst watching dogs
using their natural abilities, that they would make excellent subjects for my art work.

My commission work takes up most of my time with pieces ranging from detailed
pencil studies to watercolour, pastels or mixed media. I work from photographs and am
happy to advise whether a particular favourite photo would translate
well into a portrait piece, and suggest suitable media to use.

As well as commissions, I have a range of cards and limited edition prints
available from serious subjects to the lighter side, where
the humorous aspects of some gundog antics are portrayed.
