Results of our Annual Match with the Pennine Training Area of The Northern
Golden Retriever Association held at Strines, near Sheffield, Sunday August 29th

The Teams.

The Dove Valley Team travelled North this year on a very wet and windy morning to try
and retain the Inter Club Shield, won last year at Rolleston Park.
Judges Arthur and Duncan tested the dogs in all the usual situations. Marks, blinds and water
retrieves were set up for the Puppies and a walk-up was added for the Novice Dogs.
Open Dogs had all of the above plus a drive.

Novice.
First. Magic Mercury of Wharton at Beechborough handled by Kevin Jackson.

It was a close fought contest with Dove Valley emerging victorious by a narrow margin
