Results of A/V Retriever Novice, Young Handler and Brace Tests held at Mercaston
on Sunday August 2nd 2009.

Our last Novice Retriever Working Test of 2009 included our Young Handlers and Brace Tests and in all, almost 50 dogs took part. We managed to find a sunny day after lots of rain and the temperature remained low enough to allow dogs and handlers to stay cool.
Judges John Kahlow, Roy Stone and Steve Newitt looked after the Novice and Young Handlers while Nigel Cox took charge of the Brace Test.

The Dove Valley Stewards turned out in force once more to ensure that everything ran smoothly and although we were a little late finishing, everyone seemed to enjoy the day.
