Dove Valley Working Gundog Club.held at Chestnut Farm, Moira, by kind invitation of Rob and Maureen Pope, Sunday July 18th 2010. Page created by Guy. Background photo by Ian Hookham, L to R, Ged Booth, Judge Andy Hales and Novice Winner, Sharon Kitson. Main photos - Jenny Cox and Ian Hookham. (Apologies for photo quality. They came to me as low res and it's the best I could do). All 2010 Spaniel and Retriever Working Tests Generously Sponsored by Ian and Clare Harford of Countryman Fairs. Ian and Clare very kindly presented the Top Three Handlers in Novice and Puppy with an engraved glass and the Winners received tickets for the Midland Game Fair at Weston Park in September. www.countrymanfairs.co.uk It's always nice to be invited to a new ground to hold a Working Test and this one is ideal with young plantations and woodland walks giving lots of scope to set up interesting Tests. Re-claimed ground from South Derbyshire's open-cast mining years has been wonderfully restored to it's former glory and we are extremely grateful to Rob and Maureen Pope for making us so welcome. As usual, John Mee's team of enthusiastic stewards and helpers ensured the day ran smoothly, and from the comments I have heard, everyone enjoyed themselves. Our Generous Hosts............ Rob and Maureen Pope. Judges. ![]() L to R: Carol Goodes, Nigel Cox, Andy Hale and Dave Probert. (Sorry Dave! It's the best I was given!) |
