               Results of  Novice A/V Spaniel Trial held at               The Longner Estate on November 15th 2007.Judges: Mr R Edwards and Mr D O'Neill.

   1st  Mr G Veasey with ESS Badger of the Valley, winning The Wanfield Trophy, presented      by our President, The Earl of Shrewsbury and The Moss Trophy for Best Hunting Spaniel,        presented by Rachel Briggs.                                                                                                              2nd  Mr J J W Organ with ESS Edgegrove Hitch.                                                                           3rd  Mr S Kelsall with ESS Streanlee Aya.

 The Mossy Brooke Trophy for Gun's Choice, presented by Richard and Pat Wild was      awarded to Mr S Taylor with ESS Roseycombe Sophies Poppet.                                  Mr Taylor also won the Tasco Trophy, in memory of Mary Rountree, which was presented by  The Longner Estate and the Wauchope Family.

It is many years since a trial was held on The Longner Estate and our thanks go to Keith Carter who made our visit possible. The guns were Messers R Edwards, J Furniss, B Hyde and D Rowley.
