AV Spaniel Novice and Open Working Tests - 19th April 2026

We held our first Spaniel Working Tests of the year today at Packington Estate. By kind permission of Lord and Lady Guernsey and Aaron Taylor.

The weather was well and truely on our side all day with sun from the moment we started to the moment we finished. We saw some great dogs across the day and all competitors gave it their best.

Thank you to both Bill Parkinson and Bob Lowe who gave up their Sunday to judge for us aswell as Janey Beharell, Bridget Noakes, Nat Fowler, Jon Fern, Graham and Jane Burton, Rob Lawson, George Jones, Vanessa King and Sam Sears who made up our group of helpers, who without these tests wouldn't happen. We also had Sunny Thorpe taking photos for the Novice in the morning so photos from this will be available if you contact her directly.

We had a total of 16 runners in our Novice and 21 runners in our open, who again, without these entries we wouldn't be able to run the tests.
